Upon its release in 1996, THE 20TH CENTURY ART BOOK proved immensely popular as a way of approaching the vast range of art that the twentieth century produced. In the spring of 1999, the miniature version of the book appeared, 'occasion postcards' and thanks to its handy size 'occasion postcards' and accessible format, has proved every bit as successful as the original edition.Like THE ART BOX, THE 20TH CENTURY ART BOX contains all the liveliest images from the original book reproduced as user friendly greetings cards. There are three different boxes of cards to choose from: two sets of 25 greetings cards 'occasion postcards' and envelopes, 'occasion postcards' and one set of 50 postcards showing all 50 works. On the front of each card is a great image from THE 20TH CENTURY ART BOOK, 'occasion postcards' and on the reverse, the accompanying text from the book giving information both about the work of art 'occasion postcards' and its creator. Inside, the greetings cards are blank for personal messages.These fun, informative 'occasion postcards' and beautifully presented gift boxes are great to give other people, 'occasion postcards' and even better to keep for yourself.
